We’re so excited to share the news that Hawkins\Brown has officially received B Corp™ Certification, joining a global community of some 9,000 businesses pursuing purpose as well as profit. This certification demonstrates that our 250-strong practice meets rigorous social and environmental standards and is committed to continuous improvement.
To become a B Corp, companies must undergo a B Impact Assessment and provide evidence of socially and environmentally responsible practices relating to how the company is run, the treatment of staff, clients and suppliers, and their support for the local community and environment. To receive certification, applicants must score over 80 – Hawkins\Brown scored 113!
Receiving certification is far from the end of our B Corp journey – it’s part of our ongoing mission to build a better future.
In 1988, Roger Hawkins and Russell Brown set out to build a practice that would be a force for good. These values have been part of who we are ever since, so we’re very proud to have been recognised by B Lab and to join the network of organisations creating a more inclusive, equitable, and regenerative economy. We’ve been an employee-owned business since 2021, and B Corp certification felt like the next logical step.
