Elizabeth Line wins Stirling Prize 2024
Hawkins\Brown is thrilled that our designs for three of the Elizabeth line’s most important central London stations have contributed to the railway’s RIBA Stirling Prize, announced last night at a ceremony in Camden.
We have been involved in the Elizabeth Line, or Crossrail as it was once known, since 1992. A testament to what can be achieved through collaboration between architects, engineers, and artists, we are very proud to have designed and delivered three of the railway’s ten new stations: Tottenham Court Road, Bond Street, and Liverpool Street. We hope that these stations will continue to be used and loved by thousands of Londoners for many years to come.
Congratulations to everyone who worked on the project: Adamson Associates, AHR (formerly Aedas), Allies and Morrison, AtkinsRéalis, BDP, Equation, Fereday Pollard, Grimshaw, John McAslan + Partners, Maynard, Weston Williamson + Partners, and Wilkinson Eyre.
Each location is different, reflecting the characteristics and context of the place they serve.
